Anitox came to Pod Exhibitions by recommendation as a supplier who could provide a complete turn-key solution for their annual exhibition at EuroTier in Hanover, Germany.
Anitox manufacture liquid bactericide to combat salmonella and other pathogens in the animal feed industry. They sell direct and with agents and distributors worldwide. Anitox is an international corporation offering pathogen elimination, mould control and milling efficiency programmes for the feed milling and primary meat, egg and fish production industries. A pioneer in antimicrobial and mould control technology, through their extensive Research and Development emphasis, Anitox new product development is on the leading edge of technology. Manufacturing and distribution facilities are strategically located across the world. Anitox offers an international network dedicated to providing top quality programmes supported by talented Technical Service, Distribution, Engineering, Sales and Marketing, Laboratory Technician and Customer Support Representatives.
During the initial meeting with the client at their office, it became apparent that a re-think on the reasoning behind having an exhibition stand at this international show, was required. Visitors and clients would visit the Anitox stand, have a brief meeting and a drink, and ask to leave their coats and luggage behind whilst they looked around the rest of the show.
It was suggested that they embrace that concept and allow Pod to design them a stand that was inherently a hospitality stand with a central left-luggage store. Visitors could leave their luggage with the Anitox team for safe-keeping, if they agreed to allow them to introduce the new products and services being launched at the show – a win-win situation for everyone!
One of the auxiliary service Pod Exhibitions offer is video production for use on the audio-visual system we incorporate into the stand design. Anitox asked us to edit their existing corporate video for use on the 42" TV on their stand. We were able to not only reduce the length of the video loop, add a new musical sound track, but also add bullet points to summarize the content so that the video could be run in silent mode.
Using the Esetta system, a design was drawn up to include a central store at 4 metres high, with illuminated wings either side which created a bar, a conference area and 3 meeting zones with a reception couner out front.
The design was approved on the first draft! It was agreed that the client would hire the furniture and carpet from the event organisers, and that Pod Exhibitions would look after everything else including shipping, installation and storage after the show.
It suited Anitox budget best to hire the hardware and purchase the graphics for the stand, which is a service Pod offers on the Esetta system.
The End Result
Once the graphics artwork was received from the clients designer, a pre-build meeting was attended at the factory in Peterborough. The attending members of the Anitox team were delighted by what they saw, particularly the 3 metre high fabric light panels.
The stand was signed off and shipped to Germany, where it was successfully installed by our site team
The show went extremely well and the stand was well received by both visitors, staff and Anitox executives.
Immediate plans were put into place for the stand on its return to the UK, to reconfigure it for a smaller stand space, re-hire the relevant hardware, re-use existing graphics, re-print show-specific artwork and ship the stand to the USA for use at a conference there – watch this space!
